North Pond is a compact, sheltered waterbody just north of Norway’s village center. At 273 acres and roughly 10 feet deep at its deepest point, it has a quiet, enclosed character. The pond is bordered by a mix of homes and wooded shoreline, and it tends to be used by nearby residents for lowkey activities such as paddling, fishing, and winter ice recreation. Its small scale and calm setting give it a distinct neighborhood feel. North Pond feeds into Lake Pennesseewassee as part of the network of lakes and ponds that shape daily life in Norway and supports the town’s connection to its surrounding natural environment.
